SUMMARY
The planet Harvest was humanity’s breadbasket by the 2500s, even though it was the furthest colony from Earth. When humans finally made contact with the Covenant in 2525 on Harvest, they had few defenses, and hoped to make friends with the aliens. The Covenant, however, only sought the destruction of all of humanity, and proceeded to completely destroy the colony, killing the majority of the planet's population.
