HISTORY

Venezia is a human outer colony world, noted for being one of the few outer colonies to survive the Human-Covenant War unscathed. Prior to the war, Venezia had ties to the insurrection, which continued during, and particularly after the war. One of the noted residents of Venezia is Staffan Sentzke, the father of Spartan-II Naomi-010, who attempted to purchase the Pious Inquisitor on the black market. Venezia remains as one of the largest human colonies not under direct UNSC control, and is home to not just humans, but many other former Covenant species as well.
