SUMMARY
Sometime long before the time of the Forerunners, the Precursors created the Domain, a repository of all knowledge in the universe. The exact date is unknown, and while some sources say it was created 500 million years ago, others say it has existed for billions of years. Regardless of the exact time of creation, the Domain is ancient even to the Forerunners, and has links to the Flood and the Gravemind. Cortana’s Created was started in 2558 after she gained access to the Domain through the Gateway on Genesis, though it is unknown what implications that has to her or the galaxy as a whole.
