SUMMARY
Following the capture of the Didact, Bornstellar, and the humans by the Master Builder, the two humans, Riser and Chakas, were deposited on a Halo, Installation 07. Separately both humans searched for understanding of their situation while the Primordial performed experiments on the humans living on the Halo. They met up, only to discover the Flood had infested this Halo and the ring's control systems were trying to destroy the installation by crashing it into a planet. The humans were captured by the Primordial and used to take control of the Halo, saving it from destruction. At the same time, Bornstellar, now known as the IsoDidact, arrived at Installation 07, rescued Chakas and Riser, and killed the Primordial and Mendicant Bias.
~97,454 BCE
In the aftermath of the Fate of Maethrillian and destruction of the Forerunner ecumene, Zeta Halo implemented it’s security measure designed to prevent the ring from falling into enemy hands and performed a slipspace jump into another system and put itself on a collision course with a nearby planet.
The Return to Installation 00 was an Office of Naval Intelligence mission undertaken by the UNSC Rubicon to return to the Ark following the Battle of Installation 00 and investigate the status of the facility in August 2554.
