SUMMARY
The Ambush at Oth Lodon was an attempt by the New Colonial Alliance to destroy the UNSC Infinity and kill Admiral Hood after the failed assassination attempt at Ealen IV days earlier. The attack was spearheaded by Daniel Clayton, an NCA member who held a grudge against Admiral Hood due to Hood's insistence to send Clayton and his mother money his entire childhood. Clayton was nearly successful in destroying the Infinity, blowing a hole through the entire side of the ship, and paralyzing Hood. Spartan-IV Sarah Palmer, Gabriel Thorne, and Anthony Madsen were able to infiltrate Clayton's ship, however, and stop the attack before the Infinity was destroyed.
